The J. Paul Getty Museum is a western art museum currently made up of two locations in the Los Angeles area. One location is the famous Getty Center in LA which overlooks the city and has works of art from medieval times through the present. The second location, the Getty Villa, is only a few miles away in the Pacific Palisades off the PCH near Malibu. The Getty Villa is smaller and it only contains collections from ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria. Admission to both museums is free. The Getty Museum is one of the most visited museums in the US.
